Course Objectives

Overview

This course introduces students to the basic principles of art. Students will gain an understanding and appreciation of the elements and principles of art. They will also acquire dexterity, sensitivity and mastery of these elements and principles by using them for creative expression and critical thinking.

Objectives

Students will demonstrate an understanding of concepts and vocabulary that are associated with a beginning level art class and will exhibit specific skills associated with creating artwork.
