Experience:

Presently in 2nd year at Bitney College Prep, teaching Scientific Methods, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Driver Education, Banned Books, and Healthy Images; 12th Grade Advisor

Established a working education center for students assigned to In-house suspension.

Wrote and received Earth Day Foundation grant promoting organic gardening, outdoor science, and self sufficiency.

Received accolades from both students and parents after taking over a French II class from an 18 year native speaking French teacher, fluent in five languages.

Raised and successfully released Chinook Salmon Hatchlings in conjunction with a local restoration group.

Networked with local community, both through fundraising and establishing business connections, to bring a full scale Mentor Project Program to the local high school.

Created a community based organic garden, organized and planted by students, where students and community members raised food. Food and crafts were brought to local farmers' markets and craft fairs to support our gardening habits.

Worked with Wildlife & Fisheries and U.C. Davis in developing a proposal and mapping system for population monitoring and study of the Swaison Hawk.

Other Interests:

Purchased my 10 acre dream farm for my 40th birthday, all on excellent credit.

Paid for all of my upper level education.

Personally raised and trained my horse.

Bicycled solo through France for 30 days.

Learned to rock climb.

Next pursuit — attempt first level dressage or an endurance ride.
