Piper has always been interested in becoming an elementary school teacher. Their internship at Cottage Hill under the guidance of their mentor, Mrs. B, is helping them understand the path they need to take to realize this dream.
Cottage Hill Elementary School is located near the community of Lake of the Pines. The school serves approximately 450 students in grades Kindergarten through fifth as well as Transitional Kindergarten and Preschool. They enjoy the benefits of a serene natural environment while being located near enough to populated areas to have amenities within easy driving distance. Cottage Hill enjoys the advantages of a close-knit community that values the individual needs of every student. Cottage Hill provides a safe and engaging environment where students develop academic, social and life skills to become productive, responsible citizens in a constantly changing global society.
