For the past year, Castiel Frost from Bitney’s Class of 2020 has enjoyed the amazing opportunity to intern with artist Hollie Dilley. Dilley’s work often fuses ceramics and taxidermy in transformative ways. Her art has been featured in SubMerg and Juxtapoz magazines, and her show, “Reincarnation” garnered huge success over the summer at The Chambers Project in Nevada City. At his internship, Castiel is learning not only about taxidermy and ceramics, but also about how to be a successful artist, how to market his work, and how to stay positive in the midst of adversity! We appreciate our community partnerships and the many opportunities it affords our students to engage with the world at large.
