Mentor: Bob Walsh, Walsh Construction
Student: Jacob Trembly
For the past year and a half, Jacob Trembly of the Class of 2020 has been working with Bob Walsh at Walsh Construction, a general contracting business. Through the mentorship of Walsh, Jacob has learned a number of fundamental construction skills necessary for jobs both large and small. In addition, he has learned how to plan out and pitch bids, maintain a safe and professional job site, and, most importantly, how to demonstrate a strong work ethic to his employer as well as his clients.
Because of his internship with Walsh Construction, Jacob has already begun his own independent construction company and is doing work all over town.
